Even better. Too bad I don't... oh wait, I do.

I can't answer your question since I don't want anything for an AR. I want you to have a .458 Socom though.

I picked 300 Whisper since I already have a 9mm 6" upper (a Trident 9 on the end of a 16" barrel with a 9mm magazine looks SO stupid). A 4.5" barreled .22lr upper would be nice (to keep Mini Mags subsonic) though most of my suppressed .22lr rifle shooting is done through a really sweet Savage bolt action I picked up.

.458 for hunting, .300 whisper for the same reason, 9mm for fun.

I want a 12.5" noveske SBR in 5.56 with a switchblock and M4-2000 suppressor on the end.

Why doesn't .223 count? I don't really want any of those other options.

Big rounds near subsonic. Easier to surpress. So I went .45 ACP and 300 Whisper. Plus if you need more range, use the hotter 300 Whisper load sans can and you're good to go.

WOW.. thats quite a spread of votes.. some of those loads probably wouldn't even function in a sub-14.5" barreled AR

.45, because it's a common round, and it's subsonic. 230gr fmj is all over.
.9mm, because it's a common round, and 147gr subsonics are affordable to stock up on.

Too expensive to actually shoot lots of .458 socom, or .50 Beo, or 300 whisper, or to stock up on.

300 whisper. It outperforms the 9mm, 22lr and 45 acp by a wide margin and is easy to make/stockpile. I would want a longer barrel to make the larger ones perform better and ease the recoil.

SBR are contraband in WA and I can not use my cans here, but I have a place to legally store and use them.

    Pie, yum.
