Thread: Pistol Question

Alright so I have a S&W M&P spec ops and SWR Trident. My problem is after 6 or 7 shots I start to get alot of blowback through the slide. If its dry then it is just un burnt powder or if its wet then it looks like I have alot of black heads. I usually shoot with glasses, but went without and got some of that bubblegum in my eye and it is bugging the **** out of me.

My Question is: Is that just the nature of the beast? Or will a higher quality gun (SIG) not do this? Since there is more gap on the S&W then the sig.

What kind of ammo? I was getting a lot of crude out of some American Eagle 147gr hitting me in the face. I get quite a bit less from WWB 147gr JHPs from WalMart and almost none from the Winchester Super X encapsulated I picked up.

Tried Remington, Magtec, and Fiocchi. It seems to do it with all of them.

SIG's do it too. Glocks don't.

ive got a hems 2 for my 21sf and it does it sometimes.

Winchester super X, 147gr encapsulated, seems to be the concensus for the best ammo, for what you are doing.

sigs dont have that issue unless its really bad ammo and even then its vary little
