    Default Multnomah County--sign off friendly?

Does anyone have any recent experience with getting a form 4 sign off from the Multnomah County Sheriff? I have a suppressor inbound (first NFA purchase) and need to know if this will be a problem. Will go the trust route if necessary, but would prefer no to.

    the county is not friendly....

Got the trust. The Sheriff has stopped signing.

Be sure to call the CCL unit for Mult and remind them that you are going to use a Trust instead of the sign off.

The lady on the phone enjoys the freak out along with the ding bat sheriff that runs the show.

Imagine that....no finger prints, or background checks....

    so sad...

Actually there is a background check done when you pick it up from your dealer if done on a trust.

I have had great success with Multnomah. The turn around time for my paperwork is usually about 2 weeks.
