    Default New to pnw

    Hello,
Just moving from California to washington.
Wanted to get a jump on the firearms community.
And break myself free of the funny California laws.

Welcome. The states in the PNW have fewer restrictions and simpler laws when it comes to firearms.

Lots of fellow refugees up here, welcome. I moved up from Sacramento 2 years ago, loving it up here. The green hurts your eyes for a while, you'll get used to it. The gun laws are shocking at first, then a joy. Got a CHL in 3 weeks. Bought a handgun over the counter and walked away with a grin. Gun shows are fun again. Nothing bad up here.

BTW the cost of living is significantly less up here (if you stay away from seattle)

Let us know where you end up, change your "location" in your profile.

... welcome to the evergreen Washington state; kick back a chair and enjoy the different things around here.

Understand that this is coming from a native Oregonian... Go back, we don't want your kind here! Darn Californian's!

Welcome! Now get a new license plates, driver's licence, and CHL. Then replace all mental Californian thinking with local Oregonian thinking. There is a special medical procedure in which we put that 'think for yourself' section back into your skull. It only costs common sense.

Hmm, was that all too harsh? Hmm...
