we should have all these things rather that p.o.s.gets reelected or not.
except only class 3 people can have"assult rifles"(fully auto)the rest of us have semi-auto rifles in ar platforms.
only media and anti american/anti 2nd amendment democrats call them assult rifles so it sounds like an weapon for assulting people and scares them into thinking we need to communize america.
"semiauto ar platform rifles"1 bullet per trigger squeeze!

Unfortunately, the liberal media is now making their case that no ordinary citizen really needs semi-auto weapons. I have seen this in news reports, political comedy acts, and finally heard it regurgitated by a family member last month (who happens to wear a badge). I think this will be the next target of "assault weapon bans"; I don't think they will limit sales of just evil black guns; I think they will try to go after all semis. Obviously, there are millions already on the street, so I don't think any of us are in danger of not having one, but I will be surprised if this doesn't come up in legislation in this decade. This fits with Obama's view on guns. His two main stated positions are that nobody should have a CHL, and that traditional hunting weapons are ingrained in our society and shouldn't be banned at this time (based on his pre-election book "The Audacity of Hope" and on his voting record).

    "If Obama is re-elected."

But I am 100% sure the chances of his Re-election is 0/0.

You put way too much confidence in the intelligence of the average voters. The same idiots that voted him in the first time, will do it again,,,

It's really funny. Nobody I talk to voted for the messiah. Can't understand how he got in. Curious.

He may just steal it or just cancel the elections because of some "National Crisis", which we've been in since he took office.

Interesting. And what candidate of the fine GOP field do you see having the ability - right now - to take the White House?

Pontificating, or do you have an honest opinion of the candidate field? Or do you see a third party candidate, such as a Trump/Palin taking a majority?

First of all, as a gun enthusiast, my vote would never be for anyone that is left-of-center. It does not matter who it is, a lefty is a no-go.

Second, anyone dumb enough to vote for a O second term, well, I can't imagine anyone is that stupid. This goes double for gun enthusiasts.

Third, my vote will go to the most conservative choice available to me. Don't care about color/gender/media spin.

I'd vote for a ham sandwich before obama. The sandwich would do a better job.

So you're a one-issue voter. Even if those other issues may directly impact your gun ownership or even other liberties, it doesn't matter as long as they're GOP-affiliated and pro 2a. That's your right to vote that as you choose.

So the question stands - which candidate do you think has a legitimate chance to take the White House? The statement originally that I replied to was there was 0% that the President woudl be re-elected. I asked whom they think will win from the right. I pose the question to you - who do you think will win and why? "Anyone who votes for Obama is stupid" isn't a candidate nor an answer to the question. Or do you think there isn't a candidate that is capable and why?

Or let's make it a bigger question - do you think GOP-controlled Congress has hindered a potential candidate from winning with debt drama of credit downgrade and the tax standoff in December?

According to Rasmussen polls (and polls can change on a whim) the only GOP candidate who would beat Obama is Romney by 6 points. All others lose. Not all even agree with that, but I have the most trust in Rasmussen.

    Read it and weep:

Not really pointed at anybody... I run into a lot of people who have drank the Obama Kool Aid. One minute, they are whining about the state of the economy, the next they are blathering on about how great the Chosen One is. They really don't seem to recognize the contradiction between those two views. Of course, most can't think for themselves and just regurgitate what the Propaganda Wing of the DNC (AKA 90% of the media) say.

That's who I figure will come out of the GOP as the likely candidate. If he does survive the primaries and the traditional fighting that goes on between candidates in the same party, I don't think he'll have enough shine on him left to mount any meaningful form of offense. I think Paul is a better candidate, although lacks the support of any base to be more effective than Romney.

To his credit, I think Mitt has learned a little bit from his last attempt. He doesn't come across Gore-like as much as he used to.

Like I said, I don't care who the candidate is. And no, I'm not a one-issue voter. As it turns out, I generally agree with about 20% of the decisions made by conservative politicians, compared to only about 1% of those by liberal politicians. So you see, it works out for the better.

The GOP field is even less capable than Obama. They are like watching 7 clowns spilling out of a '69 VW Beetle at every debate, honking their noses and squirting each other with water from fake flowers pinned on their lapels and giant floppy shoes.
