Thread: Why all the OWS hate?

I've noticed on all the gun boards a venomous hate for the Occupy Wall Street crowd and am wondering why this is? Wasn't it the banks that put us in this financial slump? I think public protest is healthy for a nation (our country was founded on it).

People need/want to lash out at something and corporate America is too big and impersonal to get in one's grasp, so people are targeting OWS, a more clearly defined entity.

Yo Clevername, you definitely need to review your history. 1.) In the 1970's, the Jimmy Carter era, he instituted the Community Reinvestment Act (CRI). This law mandated that people with lower incomes should be given loans to buy houses even though they couldn't qualify for a loan under normal loan/income/debt guidelines. In the Clinton era this law was further perverted by the Janet Reno "Justice" Dept. to the extent that if a mortgage lender was found to have denied a loan to a low income family because they could not possibly pay it back, the DOJ would then sue the lender and the lender could face the possiblity of a $500,000 fine. It only got worse from there with Fannie/Freddie further corrupting the normal loan process. Keep this in mind; whatever the government touches turns to crap.
The "occupy" folks are being funded by the Russians and the Communist Party here in America. Do some real research and learn what's really going on.

no really. look it up. even if the majority aren't Communists(though the signs suggest it) you should really rethink your message when these groups show up to support you.

There are many different people here with many different viewpoints on various issues. Like religion, discussing these issues here is highly likely to offend and very little good can come of it. We need to be focusing on the things that bring us together (firearms), not the things that have the potential to divide us (politics).
