Even though the Expo center is not a private facility I would be very curious to know if there is something stipulated in their rental agreement that required any renters to disallow carry of loaded firearms. I think this is the way the city of Portland has been able to prohibit carrying firearms at the Rose Festival.

I've only ridden Max twice, I carried both times. See how well laws/rules work?

    Default Swap Meet

I'm a vendor at the "Always in April" auto swap meet at the Expo Center. I've yet to see any signs or anything in the paperwork that we get for being a vendor that states it's illegal to possess a firearm on the premises. I'm always packin and I'm sure I am not the only one.
If there is any legal or real reason that loaded firearms are not allowed at the gun show it very well may be an insurance requirement. We see a lot of insurance mandated requirements at the drag races so I can understand where that may apply to a gun show.
