I'd be very surprised if they pulled in more than 80-90 guns from this event. I was watching the whole thing for over an hour and it was sloooowwww. I was pretty surprised that sammy was cool with private transactions going on at the buyback. You learn somethin new every day.
Wishing violence away doesn't change human nature. Sometimes violence is necessary, to counter even worse violence. That's just a fact, but it's lost on the left. –Author Unknown

So... people going to be taxed on the 'gifts' that they got for turning in firearms?

(sarcasm, isn't it great.. but it sounds just about like how a city that's poorupt would handle something like this)

I saved a Colt 1917 .45 US Army revolver. I walked away very very happy. My wife, not as happy about the purchase as I am.
Wow, I am very impressed that they semi-allowed private transactions. I will have show up at the next one and try to buy a few...

Congrats on the Colt! Nice save.

I beg to differ. It is unfortunate that you know little about what you write of! All of the local lefties that I know here are disgusted with Sam Adams' behavior and his success at getting away with his lies, making all of the DECENT gay people LOOK BAD! Adams is the perfect embodiment of the false stereotype of the predatory gay pedophile who "grooms" his conquest, cons them into lying to protect their predator, and then dumps them with another lie. Adams resolved to be the "hardest-working" mayor in hopes that citizens would forget about his moral conduct---not his sexuality, but his lies...............................elsullo

They said it was "for liability". The officer told me I could stand on the sidewalk. I thanked him and took off, since the Colt was going to cost my max.

The main thing is getting people to actually go for it instead of just getting in line. I didn't bother the people that were already in line as I didn't want to cause too much trouble.

I talked to Sam (Mayor Adams told me to call him that, maybe he thought I was cute, but I think I may be too old for him). I was talking to the woman with the .38 when he approached us. I explained what I was doing and I had been telling the woman that I had a CHL and I'm state certified to work armed security. He asked to see the licenses and I showed him. The woman asked if it was okay and Sam said he didn't see a problem with it.

I was impressed with how Sammy handled it.

    Heard you on Lars today....

Sweet. I sent him an email this morning in hopes that maybe I'd get the letter of the week (and the gold coin that goes with it). He called me up and asked me to be on the show.
