Yes, and any thing that prevents the magazine from holding more then 2, 2 3/4" shells, like a wooden plug.
Mossberg uses what looked to me like a piece of 1/4" diameter wood dowel, on the 500 series guns it is inserted into the same hole the barrel threads into. I have taken many out, never put any back in...
LOL i took mine out when
I bought it, I thought no way thats hunting legal... still have it in cleaning kit... wow that easy huh?
Lost my plug for awhile and stuck the straight part of a plastic coat hanger, cut to approx lenth, and used that for awhile. Anything that stops too many shells from fitting will do the trick
What are you hunting with it?
The factory hardwood dowel is 1/4" x 8 1/2" long.
doesn't matter, the barrel i had ... the guy backed out after the deal was made, i was going to pick it up and he waffled.. i hate that.. forget to call .ok not be home by accident , thats life.. make a deal and then break it and take another offer after you have accepted one RUDE!
