Default North West hunting with a 458 Win Mag

Hello fellow hunters. I have a question for you. I've just moved here from Alaska and was wondering if there is anything in Oregon/Washington (and surrounding states) that might call for a lesser grain 458 win mag. The 458 has mainly been used for African safari and thick hides in Alaska. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

I suppose you could use it on elk or bear. Just tell everyone it's a .45-70 when they see the muzzle so you won't be embarrassed by having something that large in the field.

should be plenty for whatever you run into around here unless they are more than 200 yds. out.
