Default Needed...Your suggestions for Rabbit and Coyote hunting...and fishing!

So, I want to take my family to Eastern Oregon again...I've been going to Paisley (Summer Lake Hot Springs) for over 25 years. I've also been to Frenchglen / Diamond a few times. I am hoping to shoot some rabbits or Coyotes, and maybe do some fishing.

We went to Paisley last June...before the mosquitoes hatched. We had fun, but barely saw any rabbits.

We are looking for a great place to go...in a place, or at a time with less mosquitoes...preferably a place with a cabin to rent. Any suggestions?

Also, when is the best time of year to hunt rabbits? And where?

Hot Springs near Crane - Sage Rats, Coyotes, & Rabbits. Swimming in the warm pond plus the hot tub soaking after a long day chasing rabbits etc.
