Do you use dogs to hunt, track, point, retreive etc?

Does anyone have an idea if it is legal or not to use a dog to track your downed deer?

I want to start training my 2.5yr old golden to do it...I have some great ideas on how to get her to do it, just not sure if its legal.








**I know...i know...get a 30.06 and I wont need a dog to track it but thats no fun :P
