I found this link. Gives a person an idea of what areas may be opened or closed due to fire dange. I've noticed some areas with one gate that has a sign and go down the road a little further and there is no sign, and some areas where there are no roads or a gate to hang a sign so it can get a little confusing. Hope this helps

thanks for the link. Sadly I found out during the weekend some of the areas were closed while I was there. It is great to have the list and the phone numbers though so thanks again.

It looks like most of Longview Fibre is re-opened in Washington and Oregon according to their website. I hope that includes the Abiqua Basin. Weyerhaeuser has closed off access in Oregon indefinitely until weather conditions improve.
