Thread: West Side Dogs...(Coyote hunting West of the Cascades)

I've been hunting Coyotes now for a couples years with good results in Eastern Oregon. I wanted to know if folks are having good luck with hunting them on the Wet Side of state? I have not done as well over here, though I have not tried as hard either, so it could be related to my efforts.

Where do you hunt? (in general only, not your honey hole)

What calls have worked?

What time of the year has been most productive?

I hunt on the sand on the coast... Or my ranch
Call is a hand or foxpro
Baby deer works the best... Only prob is the heavy brush
And trees.. Can't see em..

Call anywhere you can, I use a shotgun or a AR with an Eotech as most shots are close and fast.
Don't get stuck on a sound I like to use prey sounds and then throw in coyote vocals.
