Thread: Sage rats near Ironside

Spent a week down by Ironside shooting sage rats. Outstanding shooting I finally timed how long it took to shoot 100 rounds.... 33 minutes!!! All from one spot. New fields planted this year so the grass will be low for awhile. I hope everyone is enjoying the shooting now that the sun is out!!

Angler, was this on private land or ? Cause to me that sounds like fun! I've been helping out a friend north of there with his ground squirrel problem, which is fun too. My little Marlin 22lr dropped a 58 yarder two weeks ago alone with a couple of 51'er and a whole bunch at 40.

Private land, 4,000 acre ranch. Shot the CZ 17HMR the entire time.
