Thread: Any info on Beulah buck hunt?

My son drew a Beulah buck tag this year. I'm hoping to collect some intel on areas within the Beulah unit.
We're looking for an area that is away from the crowds and are prepared to hike in and spike camp. Our favorite habitat would be in a "transition zone" that is forest conifers and sage-juniper-rim rock close by........the nastier the ground, the better.

Any tips would help.

Look for rattle snake ridge on the map its down river from northfork of the malheuer camp ground.

(sorry it took so long to reply......I'm nursing a bad sciatic nerve in my rear-end and down the back of my leg so "sitting down" to the PC has been, let's say, a real pain in the butt)
