    Default eastern washington varmint

so im been researching for a little while now, ive got a few good rifles to use but when can i and where would be a good place to start for varmint (ground squirrel, etc) in eastern washington. i live in seattle and would love to get out of the city. and i figured since spring is comming up it would be time to start making plans now.

ive never been hunting before, unless you could what i get in the back yard, so any tips would be awesome. i do plan on deer one day as well as a training class in the future.
