Thread: XD-40 4" Ammo that works well

I was at collectors west today and almost bought a case of magtech 40 S&W, Previously I owned a Glock GL17 that loved PMC but hated Magtech.. Which brings me to my question.

XD 40 Cal. owners, is there ammo that you have had problems with, with this gun? Or does it seem to work well with everything for you.

fiocchi ammo is the only ammo that I have ever had issues with in my first xd.40 service. So I have never bought it again. My second .40 service, and my .40 xdm both have eaten up anything I've fed them, but still have not tried the fiocchi's in them.

That being said, PMC, Blazer Brass, federal, speer, remington, wwb, and yes magtech have all ran well in my xd's and xdm.

For S/D ammo, I carry federal HST.

My boys glock 22 gen 4 even ran the magtech with no issues.

So go shoot some, if it likes it your good to go, if not, i'll buy it cheap from ya. LOL
