Thread: looking for an experianced Ruger Blackhawk .30 M1 shooter

I have had a hard on for a Blackhawk in .30 M1 since they first came out with them and my dad thought about getting one. Since I currently reload for my Inland Carbine and have over 1500rds of brass it makes since that I look into getting a Blackhawk in .30M1 as my "cowboy' looking handgin.

What I would like to take to an experianced user about is whats the accuracy like and what loads have they found to work well. Pistols main use would be for shooting paper and as a companion when I go jeeping in my 48 Willys CJ-2A

maybe a jack rabbit or cotton tail if the chance comes up.
