Thread: S&w 457

Got a chance at a good deal on a SW 457. I'm a 45ACP lover, and would appreciate hearing anybody's experience with this gun. Thanks.

The one I had was OK, it shot good and was reliable. Just don't care for the hammer dropping safety like on S&W and Berettas. I put several hundred rounds through it with out any problems so would say if you like the gun it should be an OK deal.

I had one for a long time. I'm still kicking myself for selling it. It did everything a defensive handgun is suppose to do. It put the bullet where it was suppose to go, it was totally reliable, light weight, easy to maintain. Why did I sell it? Stupid! Thought I wanted a .44magnum S&W.
