Thread: Dan Wesson 10mm

This is my first posting of any kind on the internet but when you feel like you have exhausted all other avenue's, well, here we are. After hours and hours trying to find my dream gun ( all to no avail) I have determined that perhaps making my desperation known may aid in the process.

I am looking for a Dan Wesson Commander Classic (or II) Bobtail 10mm. If there is anyone who could assist me in locating this item I would so greatly appreciate the assistance.

Ditto. The guys on the 1911 forum, DW section, are really helpfull.
The older bobtails are out there. You should be able to find one between $1000 and $1200. This year, in the Valor line, they are starting around $1500.
If you can swing the extra few hun...the upgraded parts and new finish might be worth it.
