    Default Testing a handgun?

I have a question. I just took apart and cleaned a Spanish Llama handgun for A guy I work with. Everything went together well and looks right, but I have a slight nagging doubt. With rifles, I wrap the action in sand bags and shoot. What do you guys do with a handgun if you have that tiny doubt? Thanks

Function test the gun and dry fire it. It usually will not work if something was out of place.
