What are you going to do about a new sight? Can you re use the old one?
Can you have a new, lets say modified choked milled out of the existing barrel just with proper machining?

So, I like the looks of the rail you have picked out, looks tacticool. And I also think a red dot should work good. So I have nothing left to offer then to state that if you or going to the expense and trouble of having it machined to allow the use of different chokes, it probably would not be a bad idea to have it drilled and tapped for a bead sight. You never know it might come in handy some day?
