    Default USA Magazines not working for Mini 14

    Anybody have issues with USA Mags not working in their Mini 14? They wont latch in the back. The front will latch but not the back. They are 20 round and silver in color (nickle plated?). Whatever the plating, it has started to flake off. They will be up for trade but I would like to be aware of any fixes before I put them up. Or if they work in some guns but not others.

    They work in my mini 14 circa 1994 like a champ!

    Just about all aftermarket Mini-14 mags are hit and miss. Ruger factory mags are $35.

    Non-availability of working full capacity mags is why I sold my Mini-14 about 20 years ago.
