Default Good engraver in the area

I'm looking for reccomendations for an engraver to engrave a memorial for my mother on my SS revolver. Has anyone here used anyone locally (Beaverton/Portland) that you would reccomend?. Also if anyone has pics of thier chosen engraver I'd appreciate seeing thier work.

Most have given up real engvaving, (no one wants to pay for a hundred hours work) best you can probably find is laser engraving. Even so most of those are hacks.

I'm not looking for something THAT fancy, just a simple memorial of her birthdate, name and day of passing. I suppose laser engraving would be as good as any, and would match the rest of what is on the firearm. What I want should only take a couple hours if it was hand done I expect.

on a flat surface, like the sideplate, laser would work. I only know of a place in WA though.

Laser Marking Services in Mulino might be able to do it. Or Bye Engraving.

I've used Bye Engraving but just for putting my name on an SBR. Worth checking them out as they did a nice job. Gary

BYE used to be the standard answer up there for NFA engraving so I'd check with them!
