Thread: flat matt bluing??

I have a benelli cordoba and the barrel in flat matt not sure what you call it? but you know what i mean. Is there any around Oregon that can refinish the barrel for me???

Usually "matte bluing" is accomplished by bead or sand blasting the barrel giving it a rough finish before the bluing is applied. Any gunsmith should be able to do this for you. Call around and get some pricing, it's a pretty simple job that should cost $100 - $175 at most gunsmiths.

probably closer to 175.00. black oxide in portland = 60.00. does the barrel have a vented rib? if you remove thr barrel, i will do it in black oxide for 100.00.

I used this guy a week or two ago and he does very good work.
