Default threading my ruger mark 2 pistol

anyone know of any shops that do this locally? for some reason tornado tech does not work on mark II's or III's anymore.
i want to get it threaded, the front site moved back and possibly drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
just not looking to send it away if i dont have to, but if i do have to i would like to know of some places that people have had good experiences with.

With that amount of work to be done, it may be cheaper to buy a new barrel that is already threaded.
Have you priced any of these? Here is one source; Rimfire Sports & Custom: Tactical Solutions PAC-LITE Receivers

This guy does very nice threading on Ruger .22 pistols:

    SRT Arms

Not sure if he is accepting new work. Everyone seems to be very busy these days.

i did put some thought into just getting a new barrel for it, just havent looked around to much for them. i may just go that route and then sell the factory barrel to get some of my money back.

Good question. Perhaps because they're attached to the receiver and they have to deal with FFL shipping issues with them? Not sure.
