Default reccomend a smith for bolt repair

I got a case head separation and its stuck in my Rem 700 bolt.

I am looking for a skilled, decent priced, moderately quick turnaround on smith to fix my bolt. (get the brass out, check for other damage/ clean) at this time i am not looking to replace the extractor.

And this, apparently, is something you cannot do yourself. Hmmm! Pardon my ignorance, but it does not sound too complicated. If you want to give it a try, post a picture and get some ideas from the folks in this forum. I do not own a 700 but I am sure a bunch of people here do, and know how to safely detach the extractor.

One question, what this with factory, surplus or hand loaded ammo?

Did you ever get this rifle running again?

    Hey Ryan,
It's all better now. It will go out Monday.
