I bought a Stoeger 20ga to use with cowboy action. I sucessfully slicked up the action and honed the chambers but the extractor on the left barrel holds the shell so I can't shake it out. What tool do you use to hone the edge of the extractor.

So after looking at things from multiple angles, I notices something when I put a shell in the other chamber. The left had lots of room while the right did not. a couple taps with the brass hammer and BINGO!!! both chambers release like they have pneumatic assist!
A good whack with a hammer will solve many issues.![]()
excellent ! I love a no-cost solution !
I was suprised at how easy it was to tune a stoeger coach gun. All I needed was a dowel, some sandpaper and cutting oil. A small bench grinder, and a brass hammer.
The internet and a few teaching cowboys really helped as well.
