Thread: ar fsb install

I live in yakima wa. and am looking for a smith to drill and pin my front sight gas block on my new AR barrel. Anywhere in Washington is fine. I just want a good person with a fair price. So if anyone can help thanks in advance.

Do not use a drill. Use an end mill.

You can buy a fsb that clamps via an allen screw for less than the cost a 'smith will charge you to do the work.

Is there something unique about the fsb that you already have?

No nothing special just the front sight/gas block I want to go with.

A clamp on FSB is fine on a range rifle but a service rifle really should be pinned.

Send the barrel and fsb to these guys.
