Thread: Gunsmith for Remington 700, Hopefully near PDX

Hey all,

I was hoping someone could recommend a quality gunsmith that works on the Remington 700. I would prefer someone near Portland or Beaverton Oregon, but I am not opposed to mailing out my parts to a gunsmith who does quality work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What do you want done?

for now not much, just a badger ordnance bolt knob installation, but if I upgrade the stock later I would like to find someone who could do glass bedding and all that.

allison and carey gunworks did some work on a remmy 700 for me this spring. google them, i think they are on 174th and stark

I have had some work done by Al's Gun Shop in Forest Grove (Verboort). They were reasonable and did good work the couple of times I used them.
