    Default Winchester Stainless Marine Shotgun

    Half my life ago I bought a Winchester Model 1300 XTR, 12ga.Stainless Steel Marine
    to keep on my boat and to use as a bear gun when ashore. Now I notice that the
    receiver is not SS but some other "plated" metal which is peeling and has several
    large pits in it.

    I was told Winchester has changed hands and this model is no longer manufactured.

    My question is: Is there a steel Winchester receiver that I can replace mine with, or
    do I just "live with it"?
