    Default Barrel straightening

Last week, my brother managed to bend the barrel and shatter the stock on a 1962 vintage Remington model 700, 7mm Rem Mag. I would like to straighten this barrel instead of replacing it. Anyone do this work locally? I'm in Vancouver, USA.

    Thanks!
    Dave

It's been done, but, I don't think you'll be happy with the results. No one I know of that has tried it kept the straightened barrel.

At least with a 700 you have lots of choices from takeoffs to new to custom.

I'm sorry I can't provide a local source of this service as you requested.
Just one gun away from having enough ...

I dont know of anyone local. they do it at the factory. replace the barrel would be the best way.
