    Default CHL

I know we don have a CCW but a CHL. I wish we had a CCW in Oregon.

Anyway... have the reciprocity laws changed yet in Oregon?
I know that there was a Bill in the house that if it makes it through will enable us to be like Utah and Arizona.

So Frustrating to be so close to Washington and have to carry two different ways.

The laws have not changed yet. Personally I don't expect them too. We keep trying but I don't think it'll make it.

Most people that are serious about carrying a gun and live in the Northwest, possess both the Oregon CHL and the Utah CFP.

Oregon doesn't recognize any other states license, and the Oregon CHL is not good in Washington. The Utah CFP is good in Washington State.

Sorry I sometimes speak in incomplete sentiences.

What I meant was that I dont have Washington's or Utah's Licence so I am not able to carry concealed in WA.
I have one for Arizona and one for Oregon not I have to go get one for that I didnt need before Moving to Oregon from Arizona because Arizona is recognized by Utah.

What I am saying is that it is frustrating that we are neighboring states and still need to have two different Licences when it would be nice to have a national recognition.

If you can get one in three different states then why not have one be good for all states that have a form of a CHL or like my Arizona one is a CCW so I can carry ANY weapon concealed not just guns.

looks like I need to go get Utah's now even though I can carry there with my Arizona one.

Thank you for all the advice

I know it's crazy. You don't need to go to Utah. We teach the Utah class and when you leave our class just mail it.

Go to ... www.BlackstoneGunSafety.com for all the info you need.

Actually we shouldn't need any license.

Thank you for the Link and I totally agree that we shouldnt need one at all and in fact having one is a form of registration. Arizona actually got rid of the requirement so you dont even need one While in AZ.

you have probably heard all the conversations as have I about having one not having one and it just seems to me that government control is getting worse. Before you know it they are going to sell us on Identity theft and require micro chipping for ID or nano technology then we will all be screwed.
