    Picked up my vertical piston charge handle and bolt, polished to a mirror finish. The action is totally smooth.

    Yes sir.

    It must be brought to the perfection of IceRack before jeweling as it is.

    Some try to use jeweling to cover up im[perfections, but that's a half-A way of doing things.
    It's to accentuate, not hide.

    Your charging handle being mounted won't be an issue either.
