Default ND at (near?) a gun show

Police: Man shoots self in leg at gun show - US news - Weird news - msnbc.com

One of the reasons insurance companies make gun shows use the 'unloaded firearms' rules. But if it weren't for that rule, he wouldn't have been (mis)handling the firearm. I know I have that concern when I'm reloading after a show.

The story title is misleading if you read it quickly. It wasn't a POLICEMAN who shot himself in the leg, it was a gun show patron.

When I first read the headline I thought it was a policeman who had shot himself in the leg too!

This guy should go to the next gun show and sell all his weapons.
    He is an idiot.

In 40 some years of handling and loading weapons,I have never shot myself or had a ND when loading a gun.
If you can't even load your weapon without shooting yourself, you need to just say NO

Unbelievable! Watch the trigger, watch the trigger, watch the trigger!

When, for whatever reason i need to reload my firearm in my truck, i load the mag and chamber the round while I'm pointing it at the transmission. I will also pull up my shirt and watch as i holster it, even though i have a molded holster designed for a G-19.

Yeah, I didn't pick the title; the hyperlink pulled it from the page. When I saw the article, I misread it as well.
