1 killed, 1 in custody after Aloha shooting - KPTV - FOX 12

Some guy shot his daughter's boyfriend, apparently. Happened 2 blocks from my house. Neighbor and I were outside and I heard the pops. I told him that was gun fire. I went in, unlocked my safe and waited just in case. Don't have my CHL or I'd have put the gun in my pocket while I waited.

Like my dad told me, be prepared, be legal.

Wow! We used to shop there all the time when we lived off of 185th and Monte Verdi. Not the best neighborhood in the world, but certainly not a bad one.

In WA it's legal to open or concealed carry while on your property without a license. I thought it would be the same in OR?

Yeah, private property is private property. And depending on precisely where you were, (wether you are inside or outside Beaverton city limits,) loaded open carry is legal, too.
