Thread: What should I do??

I have the oppertunity to purchase some guns and dont know what I want to do.

1.Remington semi-auto in 308. I dont know the year or condition. I assume its older and in fairly good shape since I know where it is coming from . It has a sportsman stock, sling, and optic, unk power or type.

2. Savage lever action 308

3. Sterling 22, new in the box.

I will probably get the Sterling. If I get either of the 308's, can I do anything with them? Upgrade barrel, stock, trigger, anything like that.

If you like semi-autos find out which model the Rem is. 74, 740, 7400 etc. Either way you need to have a smith check the action for wear, these guns can have issues.

I'd take the Savage 99 myself. What year and model? Those guns are usually pretty good as is.

I'd take the Savage 99 .308 as well. Great classic rifle!
