Thread: How long does Utah license take?

I mailed in my application for a non-resident Utah concealed carry license 5 weeks ago. The application says it can take two months. How long have folks had to wait recently? Thanks in advance.

Seems mine took right at 8 weeks - from when they received it. I tracked mine to make sure they received it and MArked it on the calendar . Came that day.
I think I heard someone say they process them and then send them out to meet the 8 week time limit.

Mine took 9 weeks.....there was a holiday in the middle, so took an extra couple of days in the the mail.

I got the license in the mail today, January 6th. Ironically the issue date was the day I started this thread, December 29th!

Funny thing was, in the mail today was also an envelope asking me to support the Brady Campaign. I don't think so...

They must have put more people on since the application numbers were way up a few years ago.
Can't imagine how they have gone up lately.

If they sent a no postage necessary envelope, send it back to them. Maybe fill it with rocks first.

I signed up for the January 11th class in Vancouver. Any one else going to be at that class?

Almost a month to the day.

Mine took 4 weeks and 4 days. That was 2 or 3 years ago though.

Mine took 75 days from the time I took the class to the day I got the permit.
