Default Changes to my Mod 0

    Merry Christmas everyone!

I just installed a new generation CASM 4 point M14
scope mount on my USN MK14 Mod 0 type SEI. M14.ca

It replaced my EBR rings & the color matches up with my FDE Leupold
Mark 4. The Leupold is riding in a set of low wire EDM rings from SEI.

The CASM eliminates the rear sight... this particular EBR stocks cheek riser
never went low enough and this made it virtually impossible to access the
otherwise excellent iron sights... an Insight mRDS with a 3.5 MOA reticle is
mounted offset and in front of the 3.5-10x40 optic. I am currently fine tuning
the position of the optic and cheek riser for best results and plan to take it for a
spin later this week, but I will need to do it again once I've replaced the butt stock.

If only I had your money! That is one of my dream rifles! Awesome! Did that start out as a SOCOM or a Scout?

I started out with a Scout 10 years ago, QC issues with the M1A lead to my being introduced
to Ron Smith at Smith Enterprise, Inc. ~ Late in 2004 I parted out the problematic Scout and
hired SEI to build the MK14 SEI you see pictured above. It's built on a forged Norinco receiver
with TRW parts. My Mod 0 has seen many changes over the years and there's more to come.

The same MK14 as it was back in 2006 at the SilencerTests shoot

    Thank you!

My plan is to somehow acquire a NSG Mod 2 butt stock and install it on my full length NSG Mod 0

oooo. I have been looking for a new long term project... I think you may have convinced me! PS how do you like your offset RDS? I have been utilizing the concept on my AR with a while now and I am still undecided
