I wouldnt mind havin you as my neighbor also :-) just a suggestion you might wanna put some caps on those PMAGS leaving them loaded without caps stretches the feed lips and you will end up with feeding problems..

Haha, I just got this one for fun, I hope it doesn't blow my hand off!

I finally finished my AR build, i sold more guns than i care to think about to get this thing lol. Im still adding to it, i bought a brass catcher the other day so when im shooting i dont have to pick up all that stuff out of the grass.
Build Sheet
PSA lower
PSA LPK
Magpul FDE 6 position stock and grip
ARMS flip up BUIS
JSE Surplus upper which is a del-ton receiver bulldog barrel (same guys that make the RRA stuff from what i understand)
18" SS barrel with bird cage flash hider
1/8 twist
5.56/.223
Flattop reciever with YHM spectre length diamond rail
Mid length gas system
Magpul rail covers
CAA VFG
cmmg .22 conversion
I know what your going to ask and yes its all milspec, that makes me a 1337 operator.
I have about 200 rounds through it and so far it has functioned flawlessly even with .22
The PSA stuff is actually pretty top notch and i would definitely buy it again.
Matt
Mid-length also. TNT weaponry is assembling my upper for me. I think they are using MEGA uppers, and the have their own 16" melonite barrels now(1/8 twist).
Lower is a PSA with DPMS parts kit with a ERGO grip.
Right now I'm really undecided on back up sights. I can't fathom dropping 200 on a set of BUIS when I'm going to be running a Vortex Strikefire. Thinking about the Magpul MBUS since they will just be backups.
Only have my phone to use as a camera so pics aren't the greatest.
FN Herstal FNX-40
Remington 870 Tactical
Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle
Robinson Arms XCR-L
Still trying to find a Burris Scout Scope for the GSR and my Turner Saddlery M1907 sling should be here next week for it. The XCR has a crap optic for now, want to replace that as well.

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?
Some pix of guns I used to own, and some that I own now, and a couple that aren't mine (the Bersa is my wife's, and the Colt is my brother in law's)
My previous G19, lightly customized (rounded and relieved trigger guard, extended slide stop lever, AmeriGlo tritium front sight, stippled grips, butt plug)
My first P220
Camo'd CZ-75
Camo'd Century Arms HK91 clone
Glock 19 and Springfield XD9 sub compact
Benelli Nova 12ga Tactical, with Tactical Monkey to guard it
My last 1911 - an Armscor made Charles Daly branded nightmare. Was a fine gun for a short time - then the factory recoil spring guide rod broke apart while I was shooting it - chewed the crap out of the interior of the frame. I got it cleaned up as best I could, replaced the guide rod with an Ed Brown part. The gun functioned fine afterward, but I lost confidence in it and traded it in for another gun. I had to have Al's Gunshop work on it when I first got it, because the previous owner had hacked up the feed ramp. This gun soured me on Armscor made 1911's.
Wife's Bersa .380
My Bushy AR carbine
The M&P 9 I used to own...
Current carry gun - G19. Not going to do the grip treatment or rounded trigger guard on this one - because I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with the 19 for carry, or trade it for a G17 at some point. It's got an AmeriGlo tritium front sight, and factory extended slide stop lever.
And lastly a couple pix of my brother in law's passed down 1911
It's the Colt that his grandfather was issued in the Navy during WW2. The slide has the Navy property markings. The finish is original. It's got the rice-grain type original 1911 sights, spur hammer, flat main spring housing, original style thumb safety. The lanyard ring on the MSH was ground off by his grand dad - and it looks like someone used the pistol butt as a hammer once or twice. The magazine that came with the gun is the original half-blued style mag.
My BIL inherited this gun from his father, it included the original military issue leather flap holster, which the gun was left stored in for decades, except every few years when someone would take it out and shoot it. It took two days soaking in ATF to clean off some of the accumulated crud and get the slide to cycle smoothly, and for the grip screws to come loose. I fully stripped and cleaned the gun for my BIL, got him a new recoil spring (the old one was worn out).
Gun functioned 100% when he shot it after getting it back. Did some digging and the serial number puts the date of manufacture in 1919 or 1920. BIL is still trying to decide if he wants to get a letter from Colt detailing the history of the gun. It's a real piece of American history, and was a pleasure to work on. My BIL takes it out and shoots it once or twice a year (his Dad's birthday, and July 4th, usually)
Here's my gal's latest AR15 I built her. She has others but they are the older A2 types and I wanted to build her a flattop A3. It has the best goodies I could afford and the new mini Eotech holo with quick detach base. In the future I am going to build her one more, a Bushie carbon fiber lightweight
The only thing left to do to it is add a strobe light and get it ceracoated in whatever camo she likes best

I'd love to post up some pics but, unfortunately; all of my guns were lost in a boating accident at a gun forum meet and greet at Lake Tahoe.![]()
Things like that do happen and I hear that after gun bans those guns can get awful depressed and many owners take them boating to cheer them up

Personally, I don't see why ANYONE would put a AFG on a pump shotgun. It defeats the purpose. If you actually manage to position your support hand in the manner that the AFG was intended to be used, pumping the gun would require you to reposition your hand every pump. nevermind the fact that it puts your thumb directly around the barrel, which as all of you know, a handful of 00 buck rounds makes them too hot to touch. I strongly believe the standard forend gives a much more comfortable, reliable, solid grip for the gun.
As for using a vertical grip on a pump gun, many individuals in the firearms community have stated that racking the slide using a vertical forward grip, puts a lot of unnecessary torque on the action bars, and can very likely reduce the longevity of said parts. So its up to you.
My first Glock, picked this up last night! Also splurged on a 32 round mag!

Picked up a little brother for my CDP today.
