    I have a model 70 xtr in 300wm. ser.# g1414xxx it looks to be built in 1978. just before the usrac change.I beleive its a push feed mdl.24 inch barrel,hooded front sight,fold down rear sight, jeweled bolt,super deep blue glossy bluing,looks like winchester went the extra mile on this one.but all my gun books skip this year in the value. I'm probably going to sell it,but but cant find a value listing.Its in excellent cond.Any info would be appreciated! Thanks. Brian
