    Default Storing Guns

I have a safe to keep handguns in but wondering if best to leave them in their original case or if it's better to put them in something like a pistol rack - something along these lines https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/...s_id/411540630
    Thanks

dont leave them in anything that can hold moisure.. like plastic cases. they'll rust.

an open rack inside the safe, with a heat bar or silicone packs, would be ideal

i second the last post.keep them out in the open air.another thing i like to do if im storing something for a while. i'll put vasoline on the exposed metal parts.its just like cosmoline, yet it is easy to clean and will keep them from rusting for sure.

If you must put them in something, make it either a VCI-impregnated bag, so, a silicone-treated sleeve for that purpose.

I keep my handguns in the open on racks, but, my longarms are in sacks to prevent safe rash.
Just one gun away from having enough ...

    Where can these be purchased?

Check "Cheaper Than Dirt" for the bags.
