The gun is a novelty item in my opinion, people will buy it, shoot it a few times and it goes into the safe only to see the light of day when you drag it out to show to friends.

I have a few of those and they are fun to own. But its not a bread and butter gun that you will Carry, Target Shoot with, or use for backup when hunting/hiking.

If you are flush buy one, but if not spend your money wisely on a weapon you can use daily.
Buying and gun, and buying a motor vehicle.
My parallel analogy is this...
When you go onto a car lot there are rows of the very same models, done up in different appearance groups, different paint schemes, and colors.
With varied power-plants, gear ratios, and traction packages, they appeal to a great varied group of individuals. Furthermore, vehicles can also be "task specific". Don;t like the Ford Focus? Look at an Expedition.
And, if you do not like what that manufacturer has to offer, you can go over to an entirely different brand and buy from them.
One thing is for sure... They all can be driven from point A to point B.

Guns? Pretty much the same thing. A Ruger LCP, a Keltec P3AT will do as a defense weapon whilst sitting in your vehicle, or in the cab of your commercial rig, or sitting at the edge of the bed in the middle of the night. It will however be a better little conceal carry that lives in one's pocket.
The Judge, on the other hand is not a nice little conceal carry, but in the eyes of some it may be considered a better choice for the night stand or the center console of the vehicle.
One thing is for sure... They all can defend one's self, and/or kill.

I own three vehicles and one motorcycle.
I have a Judge holster velcro'ed under the dash of all my vehicles just to the right of my steering wheel so the Judge can go with us in whatever we happen to be driving.
I carry a Colt Defender in 45acp
When I ride I carry Keltec PF9..
In our bedroom is an HK Super 90 12gauge.

Its a good thing I don't own a car lot instead of a gun biz.
