Thread: Dan Wesson 1911 PMDP????? Does anyone know anything, HELP.

I have found a little info on these things, it's a special target model from pointman Dave Pruitt, and only 500 were made in 2001, but I cannot find a value on the darn thing. I got one a while ago in a trade deal from the original owner and he only shot 2 mags thru it, looks like brand new. It's my first 1911, I was really wanting a 3" but settled for this instead. Any 1911 experts on here that can help? Thanks in advance.

Looks like most people have bought theirs for $500-$650. They seem to sell for around the same, and one got $950 on gunbroker.

Visit the 1911 forum, and ask on the Dan Wesson page. You willl have more info than you wanted, and a good real world value on it.

I remember hearing about those Dave Pruitt guns, but can't remember what they were going for.
