Thread: Modify Savage 93 floorpate to use Marlin 917 mags?

Anyone know what it takes or where to go for instructions on how to modify a Savage 93 (.17hmr) floorplate to accept the Marlin 917 mags?

If anyone knows how to do this , I would think you could find it rimfirecentral.com. Just a great site with a ton of good info, good luck.

Takes a dremel with a cutting tool. The difference is the Marlin mag is square and the Savage mag is triangular ish. You might want to make sure it cycles first, just remove the floor plate and insert the Marlin mag and see if it cycles. Just to be sure.
