    Default Stainless trigger or coated aluminum?

    The trigger on my new Colt I have on lay-a-way is very shiny. It matches the rest of the polished stainless gun. Does anyone know if it is an actual stainless trigger or is it a coated aluminum. I know aluminum does not shine up like that easily like stainless does...and if it does it has to be coated to protect it.

    Test it with a magnet, most stainless steels are ferric enough to notice enough with a magnet.
