    Default Testing Before Buying

Can someone point to a place in the PDX area where you can rent handguns from a range and test them out? I would like to test out a few calibers before settling on one.

The Clackamas Public safety center lets you rent their handguns, but you must already bring your own gun to the place.

PSTC in clackamas allows rentals. YOu have to bring 1 weapon on your own to let them hold in order to rent though. There's a lot of logic in that.

What in particular are you looking to rent?

By the time you go to a range that rents, pay the rental fee, pay the range fee, and buy their ammo (which most ranges that rent guns make you do for rentals) you have blown a big chunk of the money that could pay for the gun you are wanting. Itt is much better to just find a friend that has the guns you want to shoot and go to the range with them.

+1. Dealing with PSTC in Clackamas the only ammo they had last week was .45acp and 22LR, what a selection.
