Wish I had more pictures from this. My buddy and I were doing 400 yards off the hood of his jeep at 12x12 steel targets. Nothing major but just a fun day Ill remember for a while!

so couple questions s what kind of ammo do the use for competitions because i hear glocks dont like lead and im guessing its all factory ammo? also wondering if youve also shot the glock 17 and if there any discernable difference?

I've read that if you want to use lead, you have to get a different barrel. I'm using factory ammo. I started off using PMC 115 gr ammo, but recently swapped to Federal American Eagle 124 gr, hoping the heavier bullets will knock steel down more regularly (been having a problem with needing a second hit on steel).

I have shot a Glock 17, but just once. The Glock 17 & 34 use the same frame, so they feel pretty much the same. The 34 uses a longer barrel (and longer slide), so you get a little longer sight picture. Plus, the 34 comes with a lighter trigger, extended mag release, and extended slide lock. For competition, the 34 is great, but I don't think I'd bother using it as a carry gun.
