It’s about time this Online Community gets together. Everyone always talks about it, but no one is ever willing to step up to the plate and organize it. UNTIL NOW.

My Company has started a movement to help protect the rights of shooters to enjoy the public lands. And you can help just by coming and shooting.
www.oregon-brass.com is holding a TARP shoot. No it isn’t misspelled. We are going to put down TARP’s so when people shoot they can donate their spent brass towards the clean up on the Memaloose Rd shooting ranges. (This is not required but would be nice) see it’s not hard to help.
We are going to be holding these events 4 times a year, the First one is JULY 19th and we would love to have you come.

Where: Upper rock quarry at the top of Memaloose rd, off of hwy 224 east of Estacada, OR.

Directions from Estacada:
1.Head southeast on E Hwy-224/Clackamas Hwy/OR-224 toward E Faraday Rd
9.3 mi
2.Slight right at NFD 45 Rd
6.8 m

We will have signs posted also.

When: July 19th, 2009: from 9:00am to 2:00 pm. (you are welcome to stay as long as you like)
From 2:00pm to 5:00pm we will have a voluntary range clean up.

All the proceeds left from the group shoot will be used to fund the cleanup of the area.

If you want more information about who we are and what we are doing, Please visit our website: <broken link removed>

If you want more information on this group shooting event please visit: <broken link removed>

If you are interested in coming please let us know in this thread.

Thank you,
Brian / TonsOfOregonBrass / www.oregon-brass.com

P.S: Please note that the bottom 6.8 miles of Memaloose has just been closed to public shooting, we are working hard to get the safe ranges back opened. And the more people we can get to show up to this event will help show the forest service that there is a need for more ranges then just three. Please help us and your fellow gun owners retain the right to use our land.

If you would like more info on this please email us at [email protected]

Thank you all for the support.

Even though this may not be an area where you shoot it does affect you. Every time a range is closed the problems just move to new areas. we are trying to stop that from happening. It could be the ranges you visit that everyone will move to, and the same thing can happen to your range.

It is very easy to help. whether it is doing something you love (shooting), buying some brass that we have for sale, volunteering a hour of your time to pick up the ranges, or giving a dollar that is sitting in the couch.

It is easy and every bit of it is appreciated and used to clean up the ranges.

We will be selling brass at the gun shows and we have a 5% guarantee on the brass you buy. (with receipt we will exchange up to 5% of the total purchased for any reason)

If you are looking for anything in particular email me at [email protected] and let me know what you are looking for. We are willing to meet face to face somewhere amicable to complete the sale.

We strive to make sure you are happy with what you are buying.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who showed up. We had a great time, come see some of the photos on our web site.

Hopefully those that couldn't make it this time can come to our next TARP shoot.

We even got to make friends with the forest service LEO's and Clackamas county LEO's who want to help us create newer safer ranges to replace the ones that have been closed.

So thank you for the support.

We got the table to late to attend this gun show (24 - 26th) but we will be at the next one.

I think that you have come up with a great tool for shooters to have a positive effect on land that was trashed by irresponsible people. Thank you for your motivation, I would like to join up. Eric
